Cardigan Bay on the west coast of Wales offers some of the most unspoilt beaches in Europe. There’s an array of small quiet beaches and coves to explore and stunning coastal villages including Tresaith and Llangrannog. Visit the classic seaside town of New Quay where the recent film about the life of Dylan Thomas, 'The Edge of Love', starring Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller, was filmed. Take a boat trip from the pier to discover the unique marine life in the bay, including seals and dolphins.
Aberaeron is also well worth a visit. This picture-perfect coastal town, largely designed by John Nash, boasts colourful Georgian houses and an unspoilt natural harbour, ideal for crabbing from the quay-side, or enjoy a bite to eat in one of Wales's finest restaurants – The Harbourmaster.
