Parc yr Hebog

boutique style self-catering cottages, a stone's throw from the west coast of wales

Nestling in the hills of Ceredigion in west Wales, a short drive from the dramatic Cardigan Bay coastline is Parc-yr-Hebog, offering luxury boutique style self-catering accommodation in a converted stone barn (sleeps 4) and a cottage (sleeps 2).

Listed by The Sunday Times as one of the UK's 100 coolest cottages, it's the perfect place to get away from it all – for a romantic long weekend or an activity filled family holiday.

Cardigan Bay boasts long sandy beaches and a rich marine life. Within a few miles are the unspoilt fishing villages of Llangrannog and Tresaith and the coastal towns of Aberaeron and New Quay – a little further afield is the cultural capital of Wales, Aberystwyth. If you want true escapism, head inland to the hills and Cambrian mountains of west Wales, or into the western Brecon Beacons – you could walk for hours without seeing anything other than undiluted, natural beauty and a red kite or two circling overhead.

Ceredigion is also one of the counties in Wales where Welsh remains the natural tongue of most residents, so there's plenty of opportunity to see and hear Europe's oldest language.
